Choose speed from actual use
For one or two people, 50 Mbit/s usually covers browsing, HD streaming and one video call. Choose around 100–150 Mbit/s for several simultaneous streams or regular large downloads; 250 Mbit/s or more mainly helps larger households and heavy parallel use.
